In 2000, when caught on tape in Afghanistan by a CIA Predator drone, the Clinton administration failed to pull the trigger. Then, three months after 9/11, bin Laden was reportedly wounded in the battle of Tora Bora but still managed to escape.
Nice. When it was a Democratic president, the president failed. When Bush was in power, bin Laden "managed to escape." Thank you, NBC, for your "fair and balanced" coverage.

I understand your frustration, but the above fails to prove to me that NBC is the same as Fox News. It's just a phrase choice you object to.
NBC might not be the same as Fox News, but it doesn't hide the fact that this particular newscast clearly implicated Clinton for bin Laden's escape, but was happy to let Bush off the hook. I find it even more ironic given that Bush had his chance after 9/11 when it was known that Osama was a world class a-hole, whereas for Clinton he was just a suspected mastermind.
